Because Internet communication is not confidential, we have safety concerns regarding our e-mail services. Please read the following before sending e-mail to us.

  • Please DO NOT email us with a hotline issue. Instead, use our hotline number 802/658-1996; the statewide hotline number, 1-800-ABUSE95; or the National Domestic Violence hotline number (1-800-799-7233) if calling outside of Vermont. This is a safety precaution. E-mail messages are stored on your computer in several ways, may not always be completely deleted and can be traced.
  • Please DO NOT e-mail us about a friend or family member's situation. For safety and confidentiality reasons, please call our Hotline or refer to How to Help a Friend
  • If you must use e-mail to communicate your situation with us, please let us know how we can reply to your message safely. Either let us know that your e-mail address is a secure place for you to receive a reply, or give us a phone number and time when we can call you.

We do encourage you to use our e-mail address for any other questions, comments, suggestions, and further information.
