WHBW will accept any item on our wish list which is dropped off during business hours at our public office. Please call for the address or if you have questions about an item you are thinking about donating. Cell phones, cell phone batteries and chargers are accepted at the WHBW public offices (call for address and hours) as well any Chittenden Solid Waste District Drop-Off Center has a collection to benefit WHBW. The cell phones can be any age, in any condition and even have missing parts. We accept them all. Please call CSWD at 872-8100 for location information and hours of drop-off centers. Please call WHBW at 658-3131 for our address and hours to drop off wish list items.
We are still accepting items for our new Transitional Housing Program. Thank you for your generosity! WHBW is collaborating with the Burlington Community Land Trust (BCLT), and the Burlington Housing Authority (BHA) to provide transitional housing for victims of domestic violence in Chittenden County, Vermont. This project will address immediate and long-term transitional housing needs for battered women and children.

Keep sending us your cell phones! Collect used cell phones from your co-workers, family members or customers and drop them off at WHBW! Proceeds from the collection efforts will assist WHBW in providing emergency services to women and children whose lives have been affected due to domestic violence. You can help by volunteering to organize a campaign at your workplace, school, neighborhood or place of business or recreation! Download our post-able flyer or make your own!
