Wish List: Winter/Spring 2009

 

Here is a list of the items that could make a big difference to our service users and staff over the coming months. Thank you so much to the generous people who have given gifts in the past. We deeply appreciate the support and the sensitivity of so many people who take the time to find out what our needs are. We would be very grateful for your help.

 

NOTE: Due to storage limitations, we are not able to accept any items that are not listed below.  We suggest trying the following organizations for the subsequent items: for clothing donations, The Salvation Army; for larger items (furniture, appliances, etc.), Recycle North.

 

 


For Women in Shelter:

Toothpaste (full-sized)

Bath products (unopened, please no trial size)

Body lotions (unopened, please no trial size)

Bras & underwear (new only)

Socks (new only)

Cold, flu, sinus or allergy OTC medications

OTC analgesics (ibuprofen, acetaminophen)

Tampons

Cell phones with chargers

Hats, gloves, scarves

 

For Children in Shelter:

New underwear & socks (for children 0-10)

Similac w/iron (powder)

Pedialyte

Children’s Tylenol

Children’s cough syrup

Diapers (larger sizes 4, 5, 6)

Baby wipes, baby wash, baby powder

Baby shampoo (not trial size)

Diaper rash cream

New magic markers

Play-doh

Pads of blank white paper
